Antique cast iron sad iron featuring a turned wooden handle and a secondary wooden-handled latch mechanism. The top plate is marked 'FAIRBANKS'. Constructed with a heavy metal base and curved metal supports. Shows surface oxidation, pitting, and wear to the wooden components consistent with age and use.
